This is currently the last João's live album released. It was recorded
on April 13, 1994 in Palace Theatre, São Paulo, only João
and his guitar. The selection of songs is very good and it doesn't overlap
much with earlier João's live album recorded in Montreux
(Rosa Morena, Isto Aqui O Que É, Estate and
Pra Que Discutir Com Madame ). No song is particularily distinguished
from the rest, they all sound very good, 100% João Gilberto in the
recent days. This album includes final Desafinado version João does
in D, as opposed to previous versions in Eb and E, nice versions of Isto
Aqui O Que É, Estate and some songs heard for the first
time from João like Guacyra. This album is a paradise for
all those who want to play guitar like João Gilberto - everything
can be heard here, every string, every single tone.
