Also released as João Gilberto en México (1970,
Brasil) Orfeon 12-717, this album was recorded during the time João
spent in Mexico (1969-70). The arrangements still have aome feeling of
his earliest recordings, but the songs are completely different.
Perhaps the only known song is Besame Mucho that João also recorded
10 years later on Amoroso. Ela é Carioca
and Esperança Perdida come from Tom Jobim and in the opening
there is a beautiful samba from Haroldo Barbosa De Conversa Em Conversa.
An album for serious collector of Bossa Nova.
