Yet another Jobim-Banda Nova album, this one recorded live in Los Angeles
for Jazzvision TV and available also on VHS video. It consists of songs from
previous album Passarim mixed with all-time
Jobim hits in a great arrangement, like Wave, Samba de Uma Nota
So, Chega de Saudade and others. Jobim sings a lot in English,
which is understandable having in mind location of a concert. As a guest
star, introduced by Jobim as "...a beautiful flower from Bahia", Gal Costa
appears to sing lead vocal on Dindi,
Wave,
Anos Dourados
and Gabriela. I would recommend everyone to get this video.
